Map Tests

Well, during the last week and the beginning of this week we have been doing our Map Testing. I am actually proud of my math scores, only my math. I over passed my goal by 7 points! I was supposed to score over 260 and I scored 267 *w*. What motivated me the most to score higher in these tests wasn't the free spirit day. Actually, I don't think that motivated anyone but the teachers. I think something that would have motivated even more a whole class would be that the class that overpassed their scores the most would get a pizza party or something fun.. Still there's nothing fun about school except your friends, is there? Doing the Map Tests is something kind of weird. In primary they made it sound as the biggest deal ever, that you had to eat your breakfast super healthy so you had more energy. Well, non of that is really true. These tests are just so you can see how leveled you are in some classes, and if you are more advanced than others. These tests can tell your future teachers if you are actually able to enter a certain class or not. When I say that doing the Map Tests is weird I mean that it's something that you don't normally do and is kind of a pain. Still, doing these tests help you to see if you are doing good in some classes or not. The Map webpage is the NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association). There you can see the goals of doing these tests.
