Online relationships are pretty lame. I think that stalking or teasing people in social medias is really for people who don't have anything better to do. People that actually do those stuff may be really dangerous or just some random guys without a life. That is why it is important to NOT put personal real information inside your profile. It is true that people feel more confident by releasing their feelings through Social Media were no one actually knows you and judges you. Also, some times you know how to talk to someone through the internet and not in real life. What people tell you via internet can also affect your emotions a lot because we, as teenagers, actually connect with the computer. We release our emotions and let them spread, having the risk of also receiving other new emotions that could hurt us. Sometimes in the internet you could actualyl say stuff without regretting them later because, either you don´t even know the person, or just don´t care about what may happen. You may also think that the people you are talking to live miles away from you, but there are actualyl some stalkeres that are capable of going after you. I´m just saying that online relationships really don´t work and that it should not happen.

Parenting, Privacy and Control
Parents today are really over protective. They hover over your shoulder trying to see EVERYTHING you are doing in the computer. Actually is gets pretty annoying. Parents should be aware of what we are doing but not stalking us. I think it is OK for parents to know what kind of pages we enter to in internet, which most frequently are Facebook and our own Messenger account. Parents shouldn't feel fear for anything we do, until it gets to the point were we are in real danger. Yes, parents have all the right to protect us, but we also need our own privacy. I think all humans need at least some privacy to stay in peace. Parents shouldn't control everything we did because if they did I think THEY would be happy but WE would be kind of screwed.
Internet in the home
In the past few days, we have been watching a movie with the purpose of showing that teenagers have been using the technology we have been given. We teenagers use the computer most of the time, when we get home, when we are at school, when we are at another friend's house, and when we have free time left. In my opinion, this film was produced to entertain teachers who think using the technology isn't good, which I actually don't agree with. Before technology even existed, humans went outdoors and had fun; now, we stay watching the television or playing in the computer. I agree that I use the computer a lot and that most of the time that I am in the computer I use it for stuff that actually is a waste of time like Facebook. Facebook is a social media that allows us to communicate with friend all over the world and play games, which in my opinion is a fun way to waste our time. Parents today that don't really know how to use technology actually get annoyed with us for being in front of the computer too long. This video was produced for parents and teachers who actually, instead of using the computer themselves, actually TRY and look at what WE teenagers are doing. I think it is our life and our decisions of what we do during our computer sessions. Yeah, it is also our responsibility. We shouldn't be posting around real information about us because everyone else out there could see it. My point is that we teenagers have the decisions of doing what we want but with the responsibility of not posting inadequate posts.

Guy Using Spark Notes, should he feel guilty or not?
Today in class we saw a part of a video. In this video, a guy appeared. He said that he has NEVER read a book, which is really shocking for me. This guy also says he feels guilty because he feels like cheating for using Spark Notes instead of reading the book. I agree with him, he SHOULD feel guilty. Reading a book gives you the pleasure to really ENJOY the book. whether it is in your free time or for the school. Looking for Book summaries in the internet is a way of making homework easier for us but also a way for us to mess up with our future, making us a free pathway to not learn anything. He should feel guilty because getting your homework from someone else is the same thing as cheating. I think this guy should be embarrassed of himself :$ xD
Well, my conclusion is that getting your work done from the internet is the same thing as cheating. What's not cheating is getting information FROM the internet.

Computer In Home
The time is always changing, as it changes, the media evolves. I bet most people today use the computer, whether it is for good or for bad. In my house, we mostly use our computer to communicate. My both sisters and me use Facebook a lot, and when I was a lot I mean most of the time we are sitting in front of the computer. Our computer is placed in a desk by the main entrance, where our parents can see everything we do while they are in the kitchen... -.-
All my family uses the computer; my mom checks her email frequently and answers back, she also makes translations for companies that ask her to like Punta Pelicanos. My dad also checks his email and watches some series he likes and also checks the news. My sisters and me do almos tthe same stuff always, we enter and sign in into Messenger, we log in to Facebook, and pretend to do homework while we have fun in Facebook cheking posts in our home page and also checking our notifications while we chat. Most times we say we need the computer for our homework but, as I said before, we use it more for fun.

My Winter Break
This winter break was really relaxing. Since the beginning of the break, I enjoyed my free time going out with friends to watch a movie or just hang out. In Christmas, my family made a fancy lunch and we invited some neighbors over. We ate a lot of different things like spaghetti, roasted chicken, Spanish rice called PAELLA, salad, and many more. I really enjoyed this Christmas. Before we started making the lunch, we opened the presents. One of my sisters got a new VAIO laptop, while the other one got a cellphone, like me.
After Christmas, I spent most of my time doing homework. We have to do two different projects; one for English and one for Life Science. The English project was harder. We have to make a speech that lasted at least three minutes long while being presented. We could choose our speech topic, but the speech had to be persuasive. The topic I chose was "Should P.E. class be obligatory?". We are going to present the speeches tomorrow during class. I don't consider myself as such a good speech maker because I get really nervous and the words won't come out. I've been practicing a lot during my free time. Our other project, the Life Science one, was easier. We had to make a presentation about an animal we chose during out last day of school. The animals that we could choose had to be endangered of extinction. I chose the Bengal Tiger. I really enjoyed researching about the Bengal Tiger because I found out a lot of things that I didn't know about it before. I did all the homework in a two day period, from December 28th to December 29th. I had the only option to finish my homework those days because at the beginning of 2010 I had to leave Puerto Vallarta.
January the first came as fast as it could. Around eleven in the night, I left Puerto Vallarta and went to Morelia, Michoacan. I went there because my family was cordially invited to a wedding from a really close family. It wasn't a real wedding, it was just a 50 year "remarriage" because this couple has been married for 50 years! I think that is A LOT! The day we got to Morelia, January the 2th, I spent all the day working while my mom was out with a friend, one of my sisters was doing her nails, and my other sister was getting her hair done. I went with the bride's son to go get the baquet hall ready for the party. We blew up golden colored balloons. The party was great, but it was really cold. I really enjoyed this winter break.
